We can also help you with the care of artworks or other precious items for storage, travel or display.

Framing House includes a small store where you can find a changing selection of thoughtfully handmade objects for the home - from ceramics, to textiles and woodwork.

Framing House is owned and operated by Emily Rumney and Steph Chalmers. Together, Emily and Steph have close to 50 years’ experience in the picture framing industry and gallery sector. Emily was the workshop manager for Hamilton’s largest art supplies and framing store for eight years until she moved into the museum sector to manage exhibition preparation and installation. Steph has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking and has worked as an arts educator at the Natural History Museum in London, as an exhibition designer at Waikato Museum, and most recently as the curator for the University of Waikato art collection.
